Baseball Divisions

Below you will find a short description of each division and age group. In the upper divisions (Major, Minor A, and Minor B) teams are formed by draft.
In the lower divisions, players are placed by the Lower Division Player Agent.

Little League Age Determination Site

Major Division
League Age 10 - 12 year olds

The Major Division is for players in the 10-12 age group. Players are required to try out and teams are drafted by managers. Scores and standings are kept. The top two teams in the division are entered into the D62 Tournament of Champions (TOC) at the end of the year. Players in this division are eligible for All-Stars if selected. Bases are 60′ apart and the pitching distance is 46′.

Minor A Division
League Age 9 – 11 year olds

The Minor A Division is for players in the 9-11 age group. Players are required to try out and teams are drafted by managers. Scores and standings are kept. The top two teams in the division are entered into the D62 Tournament of Champions (TOC) at the end of the year. Players in this division are eligible for All-Stars if selected. Bases are 60′ apart and the pitching distance is 46′.

Minor B Division
League Age 8 – 10 year olds

The Minor B Division is for players in the 8-10 age group. Players are required to try out and teams are drafted by managers. Scores and standings are kept. The top two teams in the division are entered into the D62 Tournament of Champions (TOC) at the end of the year. Players in this division are eligible for 9U Super-Stars if selected. Bases are 60′ apart and the pitching distance is 46′.

Minor C Division
League Age 7 – 8 year olds

The Minor C Division is for players who will be league age 7 – 8. Minor C is the first level of kid pitch, but only up to 4 pitched balls. After that the offensive coach steps in to finish the at bat. No score is kept during the regular season, but there is a post-season championship tournament. Bases are 60′ apart.

Machine Pitch Division
League Age 6 – 7 year olds

The Machine Pitch Division is for players in the 6 – 7 age group. A pitching machine is used for batting. No score is kept. Bases are 60′ apart.

Coach Pitch Division
League Age 5 – 7 year olds

The Coach Pitch Division is for players in the 5 – 7 age group. The Coach of the offensive team pitches to his/her own players. Softer baseballs are utilized to ensure safety.  No score is kept. Bases are 60′ apart.

Tee Ball Division
League Age 4 – 5 year olds

The Tee Ball Division is for players in the 4 – 5 age group. In Tee Ball, players hit a ball off a batting tee. The primary goals of Tee Ball are to instruct children in the fundamentals of baseball and to allow them to experience the value of teamwork. Softer baseballs are utilized to ensure safety. No score is kept. Bases are 60′ apart.
