Saturday, February 28 | Opens at 8:00am
Join us as we kick off the Spring 2026 season with Opening Day — one of the few times the entire Costa Mesa Little League community comes together to celebrate our players, teams, and volunteers.
The Opening Day ceremony will last approximately one hour, with player pictures and activities happening throughout the day.
Opening Day Schedule
7:45 AM – 4:25 PM
• Player Pictures (scheduled by team — see full schedule below)
Location: Costa Mesa High School Gym (near the entrance to the school - on the left as you walk into the school)
8:00 AM
• Teams begin arriving
8:45 AM
• Teams line up for the Parade
• Line upon field 3
• Teams: please bring your team banner
9:00 AM
• Opening Day Parade begins
9:30 AM
• Parade concludes
• Dignitary introductions
• Little League Pledge
• Ceremonial first pitches
10:00 AM
• Opening Day ceremony concludes

Player Information
Players should arrive in full uniform. Please arrive early enough for picture time and team lineup.
Team Information
Bring your team banner for the parade. Line up next to the tennis court fence by the large field. Bring a blanket or towel for players to sit on during the ceremony.
